Dear Patients,

As you’re aware, with several of our long-serving doctors recently retired, others relocating, and Australia’s GP shortage making attracting new doctors extremely difficult, Eastern Shore Doctors Lauderdale will be closing.

The final day of appointments at our Lauderdale location will be 31st May 2024.

Eastern Shore Doctors Bellerive cannot realistically accept all Lauderdale patients and still provide an adequate service. We will aim to prioritise those with the most urgent care needs.

We can assist in transferring your medical records if you would prefer to move to one of these clinics, or another of your choosing.

We’ll continue working closely with patients over the coming weeks to amend appointments for those who move to Bellerive and transfer medical records for those who’d prefer to move to a new clinic.

Whatever you choose, our friendly staff are here to help.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we work through this solution that will enable us to continue serving the local community. As always, the health and wellbeing of patients remains our central priority.
