I obtained my MBBS through the University of Tasmania in 2010.

I am available for appointments at our Shoreline surgery.

Completed MBBS with University of Tasmania in 2011 and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Technology) with Queensland University of Technology in 1995.

On graduating in 2008, I worked at the Royal North Shore in Sydney for two years, before moving to Melbourne to work alongside dermatologists at the Victorian Melanoma service, Alfred Hospital, as an Honary Research Fellow: consulting with patients, writing journal articles and completing a research project. During 2011 I also worked as a part time Immunology/allergy Resident at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. 

I moved back to Tasmania in 2012 to start General Practice training. I have been working at the Lauderdale Surgery for a little under a year, having worked at two other locations in Hobart. I enjoy family medicine and I enjoy using my nutrition and dietetic knowledge and skills to help people with a range of nutrition and health related issues. I am married and have a toddler and twins.

My area of interest is Aged Care.

I have worked as a family general practitioner for over 20 years.
My special interests include skin cancer medicine, general practice education and training and management.
I also enjoy cycling, fishing, bush walking and farming.

I graduated from University of Tasmania 1993 and have worked in General Practice since 1995.I completed an Australian Diploma of Dermoscopy in 2008.
I enjoy all areas of General Practice but have a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine.
I enjoy photography, travel and bush walking.

After completing my first year of hospital jobs in the UK I moved to Perth, and subsequently worked in hospitals and general practice in WA, Tasmania and England whilst completing general practice training in Tasmania and England.

Between 2004-2014 I was a GP partner in a practice in SE England and latterly also on the board of a health trust  for 500,000 patients, with responsibility for health care pathways  in cancer and long term illness.

My areas of interest are women's health, children and care of long term conditions such as lung disease and heart disease.

I returned to live in Hobart in 2014 with my husband Dr Steve Rogers and our three children and enjoy walking and playing the cello in local orchestras and chamber groups.

I returned to Tasmania in 2004 and locumed for Dr Saul and Dr Jeanneret in 2005 and 2006 and loved the community and the practice. I have been working at Lauderdale and now Shoreline full-time since 2007.

 I love helping people, families and their communities and you can only do that in General Practice.  General Practice is a great medical speciality and I have always been interested in mentoring new doctors and students.
I am interested in all aspects of  Family General Practice and providing what communities need.
I am married with 3 children and my time in WA converted me to the "purple' team.
